Medical - Medical (general) / medical report letter
German term or phrase: Unsere Aufnahmenummer
This is at the top of a letter from amedical report - I thought it meant our reference, but then the next work at the top of the letter is unsere Zeichen, unsere Nachricht vom (underneath SAT/GUNTHERI), which I think also means our reference, so now I am stuck as to what Aufnahmenummer is?! Anybosy got an idea please? Thanks!

Our admission number (for the inpatient admission)
Explanation:
I am guessing this is a report about a hospital stay, and typically they have an admission number for the patient.

agree  jccantrell: I would use 'admitting number" but that is probably just me. Same thought, though.
