German to English translations [PRO] Medical - Medical (general) / vascular diseases
German term or phrase:Randbereich
Spiral CT of the abdomen:
"Bekannte Arteriosklerose der distalen Bauchaorta. Im Randbereich Nachweis von Thrombosierungen."
I'm not sure how to interpret "Rand" in this case. Are they referring to intramural thrombi?
After reading Susanne's comment, I actually decided to simply use 'marginal' (good to see Anne's confirmation here), although I still feel that they may refer to intramural thrombi as they mention them later in text...But I will stay ambiguous, it's 'safer'...
