here you find examples for the use of preload without the volume prefix in a situation where the context is clear. In other situations, \"volume preload\" instead of just \"preload\" is ok.

by the way, no medical professional would say Volumenvorladung (which was probably translated from the English word by a lawyer or something like this); a correct German word would be f.e. \"Vorlasterhöhung\".

Thanks so much. The article was originally written in German, by an anesthesiologist, but doctors just never are good writers I guess.
