German to English translations [PRO] Medical - Medical: Health Care / Medical billing
German term or phrase:AK (inkl.)
This is a column in a German medical bill. Under AK (inkl.) are prices for various procedures. The column next to AK (incl.) is BK (inkl). I am posting that as a separate question.
Does anyone know what this might be an abbreviation for and what it would be in English?
IMO it's relevant to look at the type of bill - is it about
- Germany, Austria, Switzerland?
- hospital or private practice bill?
Based on these infos, we could maybe consider AK: Arzneimittelkosten, BK: Behandlungkosten?
Finally, if still not sure about the exact meaning, I would contact the author of the bill (doctor, hospital ...) and ask for these abbreviations. :-)
