Explanation: ...but a preliminary explanation: The URL cited below indicates that the "Präparandenschule" belonged to secondary education, preparing students for pedagogic/teaching studies which were historically called "Lehrerseminar" (search for both terms in the document). The term "Präparand" thus designated a student intending to become a teacher. Based on this information, one possible rendition could be *secondary school for future teachers*.
