I don't have a lot of problems with 'luxury brand', but 'classy' is another word frequently used with reference to cars, and perhaps it is marginally closer to the German idea of 'Edel'. The original was not 'Luxusmarke', after all. Then again, 'classy' would not be suitable for a very formal text, so a lot depends on the wider context.
