I'd probably use

Why don't you try it on?

instead of just "try it on" as suggested above, simply because of the German "doch" in the sentence, which is more of of suggestion-type or even question-type thing rather than a command-like thing...

(yes, I know that "try it on" doesn't mean you have to do it, but still, the question form sounds nicer to me.)
