"Nickname" for a motorway Explanation: "Sauerlandlinie" is the 'nickname' for a motorway running from North to South through the Sauerland Region (thus the name). I am not sure about the number of this motorway but in your other posting you wrote "A45". Unless "Sauerlandlinie" is important for your context I would translate this just with "motorway A45". If you have to mention "Sauerlandlinie" (= Sauerland line) just write "motorway A45, the socalled Sauerlandlinie, ...) Hope that helps. |
