one-man-studio Explanation: Perhaps there is a better term, but this is all I can come up with for the time being. 1. 2. ... a historical footnote for airing the very first call-in ... Sam Phillips was a one-man studio, doing it all himself ... one-man broadcast studio Explanation: This saounds a little bit better. Hopefuly it helps. "From his one-man broadcast studio at his home, Bell asked that his fans let some time pass and hopefully, he will return to the air. " Reference: http://www.kepler.edu/articles/astrology/rodden4.html |

self-operating studio Explanation: Thanks to Parrot, I have been led to the following idea: "It was an odd experience. I was welcomed at Broadcasting House by a team of security guards who searched me for bombs, and one of them then conducted me to a self-operating studio and left me to it. I did my performance and let myself out of the studio, at which point I apparently had the run of Broadcasting House. " Third time lucky, I hope. Reference: http://www.google.com |
