see below Explanation: There's something missing in your sentence - which is probably why it doesn't make sense. There must be another noun following "seitlichen" - maybe Henkel? Muschelwerk is rocaille or shellwork (Langenscheidt, Muret-Sanders). Wölbungsansatz is a bit more difficult, it's the point where the bottle starts bulging or becomes convex - I hope you can come up with a more elegant phrase! In addition to convexity, Ernst gives 'swell' or 'barrelling' as possible translations for Ausbauchung. Maybe this will help you get on the right track! Good luck. |
