German to English translations [PRO]
German term or phrase: Kameraflug
Am looking for an English expression for the words "Kameraflug" and "Kamerafahrt" (the camera views in question relate to a race-track, but the client insists on something less "static" than Bird's eye / driver's view, for example. The expression should make it clear that the camera is moving).
TIA :-)

English translation:travelling shot
Explanation:
That is one of the terms listed in my FWB Hörfunk und Fernsehen.
Kamerafahrt - dolly shot, camera tracking; (Aufnahme) travelling shot, dolly shot
Kamerfahrt rückwärts - tracking back, tracking out
Kamerafahrt vorwärts - tracking in
seitliche Kamerafahrt - crabbing

Maybe one of those terms would be more to your client's liking?

disagree  Sven Petersson: Where did the "fast/high-speed" come from? Banana peel?

agree  xxxeurotransl: with Tom and Uschi - Sven's tone has taken a "nasty" turn recently (challenging to a "duel" comes to mind) :-(
