German term or phrase: inszenieren
In the middle of a letter discussing the arrangements for a race and the possibility of setting up a stop in a particular town for lunch and light refreshments, I have the following:

"Besteht auch die Möglichkeit bei diesem Stopp eine Falkenjagd zu **inszenieren**?"

This has me really confused!
Does "inszenieren" here mean "to visit"? Otherwise, I'm not really sure what they're doing with the falconry - it all seems very bizarre in the middle of a race!!

Many thanks in advance!

to arrange
Explanation:
to arrange a falcon hunt
or
organize a falcon hunt

I see nothing strange in provided it's not a Formula 1 race.

Thanks to all for the suggestions! I hadn't thought of Falkenjagd as a falcon hunt but I guess it makes sense here.

Explanation:
My interpretation would be that the falconry centre puts on special tours and shows, so there would be an option of doing some such thing during the stop.

But you're right, it does sound like a bit of an odd thing to be doing.

Maybe there's some sort of meaning of 'Falkenjagd' we're missing here.
