Could Socrates Sell?

A. Drayton Boylston

Webster defines the Socratic Method as "A method of teaching or discussion, as used by Socrates, in which one asks a series of easily answered questions which inevitably lead the answerer to a logical conclusion."

How could the application of this benefit you?

He who dares, wins

Explanation:
Yes, I know this is from Del Boy, but perhaps you could work it in some way: He who dares ask questions, wins.

wer fragt, der fuehrt!
In order to lead you first must question

Explanation:
This sounds sufficiently old-fashioned to pass as a Socrates quote. Do you have the option of ditching Socrates altogether and going for something more recent such as: 'Ask and thou shalt receive'.

Explanation:
Actually, the `back to basics´ for sales people. Far and away the best method for finding out if someone has interest in or a need for your products.

...although admittedly it does sound a bit abrupt, and moreover is a negative construction - not necessarily good for motivation!
