German term or phrase: Stehen vor
Antriebsschrittkette: 'aktuelle Position' zeigt an, dass sich die Schrittkette an dieser Stelle befindet. ie letzten durchlaufenenThe last run
Schritte stehen vor 'aktuelle Position'.

In this context, does the "stehen vor" have the meaning that the steps or sequence of steps from the last run are present? Thanks in advance.

English translation:listed above/before
Explanation:
Wenn man davon ausgeht, dass
"ie letzten durchlaufenenThe last run Schritte stehen vor 'aktuelle Position'."

eigentlich:

"Die letzten durchlaufenen Schritte stehen vor 'aktuelle Position'."

heißen soll, dann würde ich "stehen vor" mit "listed above/listed before" übersetzen....

From what I read in German I figure that they are talking about a display here. I understand that the display shows different stages of a process and the process listed next to "Aktuelle Position" is the ongoing one.
The already completed stages are listed above or before "aktuelle Position"...

But only if my assumption of the German sentence is correct!
