KONTEXT: Da mit der Erstellung eines Webservice die Geschäftslogik im Standard des World Wide Web Consortiums (W3C) vorliegt, kann die Geschäftslogik (der Webservice) von Anwendungen in unterschiedlichen Programmiersprachen genutzt werden.

I don't really understand what "im Standard vorliegen" means here. I thought it might be something like "Since creating a web service means that the business logic is a World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) standard,..." but I can't be sure. Can anyone please confirm what "im Standard vorliegen" means here?

agree  Ken Cox: yep -- the business logic (which essentially means how the application works at the user/process level) is already defined by the WWWC standard, so various programming languages can be used [not that the logic of this statement is especially obvious...).
