acid vapours

Without context, this seems to be the most obvious answer.
Good luck!

First of all: I'm not a chemistry expert - but

I understand acid as an adjective to mean "consisting of acid", while I understand "acidic" to mean "containing acid".

I'm not qwite sure whether "Säuredämpfe" covers both.

Whether yuu should use the singular or the plural form of "vapour" would depend on the context.

If the meaning is "consisting af acid", I would say "acid fumes" in a less scientific context.

Good luck!
