process technician Explanation: MatsWiman already gioves the good answer in the explanations he provides. Ernst gives for Verfahrenstechnik two definitions a) chemical engineering, for which the correct job description then would be a chemical engineer, and b) process technology, for which the job title would then be process technician Ernst, WdiT |

Chemical engineer Explanation: This is chemical engineer according to Wenske's large Chemiefachwoerterbuch. I can verify this with practical experience, considering I worked on a Anlagenbau project for two years, during which I had to work with a Verfahrenstechniker. His responsibility was to design and layout the processes. Sometimes they are also called process engineers. Good luck! |
