German term or phrase: additionsvernetzend
This relates to a silicone product. One suggestion I found was "addition-interlacing", but I'm not entirely convinced that this is the correct term. But if it is, please let me know or suggest an alternative.

English translation:vulcanizing with (an) accelerator(s)
Explanation:
>>>Vulkanisationsarten:

Thanks to Tom and all others who answered. Crosslinking actually sounded pretty good too, but came just a little too late for my deadline. Will keep it in mind for another time.

Explanation:
What Tom says looks good. His second reference shows that the following information from Ernst and Routledge-Langenscheidt may be a different process altogether. Not what you want. Ernst gives addition cross linking or linkage (with or without a hyphen is not too clear) but this only as translation of the separate words. When referring to chemical processes, both Ernst and Routledge-Langenscheidt always show addition and not some other related word. As far as Vernetzung goes, R-L add curing, not cross-curing, simply curing. Where is dierk when we need him, he is a chemistry expert?
