German term or phrase: Verschleppung
Die Chromatogramme von TMSH zwischen den letzten Proben haben gezeigt, dass Verschleppung auf den System kein Problem ist.

This is a chemistry passage dealing with identification of auxiliary substances through a variety of methods. This one is looking at peak areas and shapes through chromatography (I think). I believe that Verschleppung means something like "spreading of data from one measurement to the next". Anything more elegant would be appreciated, or, if I am totally out of the ballpark, a stern reprimand.
