German to English translations [PRO]
Social Sciences - Social Science, Sociology, Ethics, etc. / Influences of modern industrial society on alcohol addiction and drug abuse
German term or phrase: Trägergruppe
The full sentence reads as follows: Durch die Technisierung und Automation kommt es aus sozialpsychologischer Sicht zur Vermassung, Anonymisierung und zur Delegation der Verantwortung auf grosse Traegergruppe

I have made an attempt at translating it but I know that it sounds very literal at the moment :

From a socio-psychological point of view, mechanisation and automation results in a massification, anonymisation and delegation of responsibility to carrier groups.

Any guidance would be very much appreciated.

English translation:Massification ... authorities/organisations
Explanation:
Depending on the context I would use the word "authorities" (e.g. government) or in a more general case: "Organisations".
"Massification" is ok but is probably only understood by experts in the field. A more wordy explanation might be better.

For those who don't know what this peculiar word means. (It sounds more like marketing mumbo-jumbo than sociology mumbo-jumbo, but anyway...)
