Tech/Engineering
German term or phrase: KWU
Die Vormontage von NWFK (Nockenwellenversteller in Flügelbauweise, Kettenantrieb) umfaßt die Arbeitsfolgen:
...

This doesn't look like a part of Siemens to me, but instead like a ratio or unit of measure. Anyone have any ideas? TIA, Beth

English translation:KWU
Explanation:
Don't try to reason this one out or try to translate it. In "Federkraft per KWU zu messen." the word _per _ clues you in that the measurements are to be taken according to some preestablished guideline. Hopefully the people who read this this, as in many instances, would know what this means.

Thanks to everyone for your help. I hope to hear back from the client's engineer on this one. Crankshaft revolution sounded like it could fit, but the third answer confirmed my own suspicion, based on "per," that KWU is an acronym for some guideline or standard or something like that. Thanks again for your suggestions!

Explanation:
KW=usually Kilowatt
KwH=Kilowatt per Stunde/hour
so maybe KWU=Kilowatt per unit? which
does not make sense. Maybe it is Kilo weight per unit.

Explanation:
Since you are expected to measure force per something, I suspect this is per cranskshaft revolution.
