One definitely needs more context, i.e. material. According to Siemens and Ernst Technical Dictionary:
spanlose Bearbeitung: non-cutting shaping, working, processing
spanlos formen: form, work without cutting
spanlose Formgebung/Verformung: forming, non-cutting shaping
spanende Kunststoffbearbeitung: plastic cutting
spanend: metal cutting
spanendes Werkzeug: (metal) cutting tool
I hope this help some.

"Non-cutting and cutting production processes".

"Spanlose Fertigung" is a description of all forms of manufacturing that *form* material in some way rather than removing parts of it in order to achieve an end result. The final product will generally contain all the material that was contained in the raw parts. (Having said that, most "spanlose" processes need some form of "spanende"§ finishing process to remove unwanted sprue etc.) "Spanende Fertingung" or "spanabhebende Fertigung" describes processes whereby the raw part has bits removed in order to achieve the final product. The final product contain considerably less material than the raw parts. Casting, molding, pressing, drawing are all "spanlos", whereas Drilling, milling, sawing are all "spanabhebend".
