We just recently had this question for "Bauprüfung" (look for result in Glossaries und "Baupruefung") just in this context. So you just need to decid on your "Teil-".
Teil could be "(structural) part" or "partial" in the sense of "not all".

Grammatically I would understand it as "partial", but knowing how engineers are masters in warping the German language, I cannot exclude the possibility that it really means a "part".
