German to English translations [PRO] Tech/Engineering
German term or phrase:Die zum einen bei einer Vielzahl von Geschäften
Diese Software ist für alle Anwender interessant,
die zum einen bei einer Vielzahl von Geschäften
das damit verbundene Zinsrisiko abschätzen
Explanation: It would have been helpful to see the end of that sentence:
This software is of interest to all users who
(on one hand) = zum einen
(have to ?) assess/estimate the interest rate risk of a large number
of (business) transactions/investments/trades ...
associated with one particular transaction from among a group of transactions
Explanation: What I understand this sentence to be saying is that you have a group of business transactions which are bundled together in such a way that it is hard to see what interest risk is entailed by each transaction individually, and this software enables you to do just this. I don't know the context here, and 'transaction' may not fit the meaning of 'geschaeft'. I also recommend caution in dealing with 'interessant', which 9 times out of 10 is a false friend, and does not mean the same as 'interesting' in English.
I would suggest:
This software will be of use to all those who require an estimate of the interest risk associated with one particular transaction from among a group of transactions.
