German to English translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering
German term or phrase: welcher den ... umgreifbar ... ist.
In a patent relating to a hand tool: "Staubabsaugung, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass auf dem Aussenteil am axialen Übergang zum Innenteil des Saugrohres ein axial fester, begrenzt umfänglich versetzbarer Stellring angeordnet ist, welcher den drehrastbaren Stellriegel umfänglich beidseitig formschlüßig umgreifbar ausgebildet ist."

I am having trouble with the part that starts "..., welcher ... umgreifbar ausgebilted ist."

Can anyone figure out what is meant???

Thanks very much!
Harold

English translation:Here's my feeble attempt
Explanation:
The Stellring (setting collar/ring?) is configured such that it encompasses the Stellriegel (?) circumferentially on both sides with a positive fit

Arghhh!
