German to English translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering
German term or phrase: Fahrwerk
I think this means chassy, as they're talking about a new type of shock absorbers. However, the word might also mean chassy component. Please help!

Here are a few other words I'm not sure about, with my (questionable) translations. They all have to do with automotive technology:

-Presslinie = assembly line?
-Bleche = steel sheets or panels?
Jeff
English translation:Presslinie = pressing line, Bleche = sheet metal
Explanation:
In the absence of additional context, the Presslinie is presumably the line on which body pannels are pressed from sheet metal

Explanation:
YES Fahrwerk = chassis (or under-carriage)

Confirmed by my very reliable Danish-English technical dictionary and LEO, and Eurodicautom)

Otherwise I tend to agree with Lis, and I, too, wish you would provide some context!
