German term or phrase: kabeldurchführung
Isolierschlauch für kabeldurchführung
corinna
English translation:See below
Explanation:
Unfortunately, I looked at your questions in reverse order. First, I was thinking this was fairly general electrical engineering. After looking at your other questions though, I realize this is automotive engineering. My Wyhlidal automotive dictionary offers cable passage, cable lead-through, cable duct, cable channel. The point is here, if this an element where a single cable passes through a panel, etc. (cable bushing or gland or lead-through are more suitable) or if the cable runs or is routed along the body or frame of the car (cable passage, duct or channel).

cable grommet

Explanation:
Kabeldurchfuehrung on its own is cable routing. Cable bushing is also in use (Ernst), Werner also lists "knockout". However, cable grommet is the name used for Isolierschlauch (or: -huelse) fuer Kabeldurchfuehrung.
