German to English translations [PRO] Tech/Engineering
German term or phrase:Schraegklaerer
Term occuring in a text on a modern waste treatment plant. It appears to be a mechanical unit used for 'Biomasse-Abtrennung'.
Explanation: Once again difficult, especially without the surrounding context, sentence, in this case probably paragraph would be necessary. Klaerer could be many things: clarifier, settler, clarifying apparatus, settling apparatus, clarifying basin, sedimentation basin, precipitating vessel, precipitator, settling tub. Schraeg- even more difficult. My technical dictionaries offer angled, diagonal, slanted, sloped, inclined, etc.
