German term or phrase: Gewebe-Veredelungsanlage
I think it's a fabric coating line but I'm not sure what the heck that is. It's got lots of moving knives. Help!

Another words are
1) 'Einzugsstelle', a part of that anlage above.
2) 'Restgefahren' - Gefahren, die nicht konstruktiv abgesichert werden koennen (z.B., Einzugsstelle). Unavoidable hazards?
3) Laufbuehne - walkway or track?

Explanation:
I am guessing on the English since I do not know any precise English term. However, "veredelung" is nothing more than adding value. Therefore, since you say it has a lot of knives, I would take it to be mechanical devices that take rolls of cloth spool them thru the machine to get shirts or blue jeans or some intermediate product (precisely cut cloth) that subsequently can be stiched together/dyed etc.

The "Einzugsstelle" is the point at which the raw cloth gets "eingezogen" into the machine with all the knives. Probably not a good idea for worker's fingers to get suched into harm's way there.

"Restgefahren" are all the dangers that remain after you have protected yourself from those dangers against which you could protect yourself.

"Laufbuehe" - since we are apparently not talking about models whith the veredelte textiles on them strolling the runway (bit of translator humor, that) I would take to be the path that the textiles follow thru the machine(s) as the get veredelt.

According to notes I took from a textile dictionary E/F/D (author's name starts with H....) I can't exactly remember the title, but it is well known.

In French: machine pour ennoblir les tissus, if that may help.

Also in Ernst for Einzugzylinder (Textil) is feed roller. You might also consider fabric intake.

As to the hazards, I believe the reference is to other dangers or hazards which cannot be prevented through appropriate design or layout of the machine/installation.
