Tech/Engineering
German term or phrase: quasistatisch Überprüfung, Wegänderung
context: fatigue testing of roller bearings

continuation of paragraph from 1st question (gleichbleibender Weg):

Also: in the first sentence, what can be reproduced, the Federsteife?

This is a tough passage - I would be grateful for any help.

Explanation:
If the test is interrupted and the stiffness of the assembly [or: mechanism] is tested [or: verified], a reproducable result is always obtained with static testing.... However, if the stiffness of the assembly is quasistaticly tested in the pulser without removing the load, directly following a 'high stress' phase, it is seen that if the displacement [or: amount of travel] is changed, the resistance initially increases more rapidly than the applied pressure and then drops back to the static value.

Federsteife = spring rate

also Federsteifigkeit = rigidity of the spring

Hope this helps!
