German term or phrase: Abweisbügel
A farmer was asked by the manufacturer of his tractor what could be done to improve it. He replied:
Abweisbügel an der Kabine für Hopfen.
Probleme beim Anbau des Hopfenabreißgerätes wegen Fronthydraulik an der Achse.
Position der Schalter von Schnellaushub ungünstig.
What is the 'Hopfen' that the farmer is referring to? How would I translate 'Abweisbügel', 'Hopfenabreißgerät' and 'Schnellaushub'?

deflector hoop ...
Explanation:
Hopfen is hop (the perennial plant used in making beer). As hop is a climbing vine, maybe the tractor cabin needs some sort of a hoop to keep the vines out?

For Hopfenabreißgerät (no hits on the German, either), you might be able to simply say "hop cutter" or "hop harvester" or maybe "hop harvesting attachment".

Nothing on Schnellaushub, either, and the context you give is just not sufficient to come up with an educated guess. It's not clear to me if the Schnellaushub is somehow connected to the Hopfenabreißgerät or not. Aushub is generally excavation, ditch, etc. [Ernst and Routledge], but that does not seem to fit into your context. Maybe it is some sort of a mechanism for quickly transferring the harvest, whatever it may be, from a container on the tractor to a larger container?

Here, if it helps, is what Ernst and Routledge offer on abweisen, Bügel, and Aushub:
Abweiseplatte f
CHEMTECH deflector plateBügel m / bow, hoop, shackle, strap

Bügel, Spriegel m (Kfz) / hoop
Bügel, Steg m (Gieß) / stay
Bügel m (Beton) / stirrup
Bügel m, Hängeeisen n (Bahn) / strap, stirrup piece
Bügel m, Spannbügel m / clamp, clip
Bügel (dreiseitiger; dem Steigbügel ähnlich) / stirrup

Aushub m, Baugrube f / ditch for the foundation, excavation
Aushub m, gebaggertes Material / excavated earth o. material
