German term or phrase: Faiencerie
Does any one have an English translation for this term? I know it is a French word which I believe refers to painted or decorated tile. But is there an English word out there "Faiencery"?

earthenware manufacturer

Explanation:
you can say earthenware or pottery, the first means business, the second has to do with crafts and small local business. Use earthen, if it is good quality eitherway, for pottery tends to be seen has poor craftmanship or as amateur Sunday job.
