Tech/Engineering - Construction / Civil Engineering
German term or phrase: bauseitig
I do not know how to translate this word. It is in the following sentence:
Führen heiße oder kalte Maschinenteile zu Gefahren, müssen diese teile bauseitig gegen Berührung gesichert sein.
Ingrid Weber
construction-wise, by design
Explanation:
There are many possible ways of saying this; I've encountered it numerous times, and often, it has to be translated differently.

Here I would say:

Explanation:
As C Trans stated, this is really hard to translate with other further context. If this is a specification or invitation to bid or similar, then this usually refers to the client's responsibility, ie. to be carried out by the client or by other as per client's arrangement. Nonetheless, it can also mean "on site".

Good luck!

Explanation:
Doesn't bauseits/bauseitig refer to work which must be carried out by the customer rather than the supplier???
