ejector flushing head / ram flushing head Explanation: Ernst, "Wörterbuch der industriellen Techbnik" helps, by combining "auswerfen = ejection, ejector with Spülkopf. Unfortunately though these terms are used in mining. From my own training at Brooklyn Technical High School I remember that lathes do have "flushing heads" or devices, that are used to wash off metal chips produced by machining, from the pieces being turned. But this leaves the "Auswurf" and "Ramm" in the air. Hope this helps. But "Maschinenschlosser" can also just be a "machinist", which could go with mining. Your can see the flushing hea ds at: |
