... in existence Explanation: This is not easy - I don't think there is a lot to choose from here. How about something like this: ...geringere Dichten mit mehr Freiräumen im Bestand. = ...less density with more open areas/spaces in existence. Die dominierende und 1989 in ihrem Bestand in großen Teilen gefährdete gründerzeitliche Bausubstanz ist heute zu drei Vierteln erneuert. = The dominant building structure from the founder period, which was greatly at risk in its existence in 1989, has been rebuilt 75% today.
