German to English translations [Non-PRO] Tech/Engineering
German term or phrase:***Aufschalten*** von Informationskanälen
*Aufschalten**(?) von Informationskanäle auf die Netzwerk Infrastruktur der Deutschen Telekom.
Kann man das so sagen: The ***switching*** of data channels onto the network architecture of the Deutsche telekom
Explanation: Brinkman defines
Aufschalten = offering, busy override
Your own suggestion "switching" is not wholly wrong and maybe even more understandavble, because in order to offer a communications channel it must be switched. Look at the further context and decide what you want to use.
Other simialr terms for youre info:
Aufschalteimpuls = busy verification tone
Aufschalteton = trunk offering tone
Aufschaltemeldung = trunk offering message
