buffered / buffer zones


Explanation:
Many conveyer belts have so-called buffer zones where extra product can temporarily be stored, without shutting down the belt, whenever there is a stoppage along the way, or the input exceeds the put-through.

So the belt is buffered or has buffer zones that can take up jam (Stau).

staufähig would then be bufferable (although that's not really really english but an extrapolation)
