COntext is the positioning of a roller for squeezing out air, pressed against a roll of paper in a paper making machine: "Die Luftabquetschvorrichtung ist im wesentlichen linear, vorzugsweise horizontal und/oder vertikal, und/oder im wesentlichen entlag einer Kontur eines Kreissegments anlegbar ist. Diese Anlegebewegungen ergeben in der Praxis hinsichtlich Ihrer Regelungen und bewegter Masse beziehungsweise Massenänderungen Vorteile." SO the roller is placed in a linear position along the contor of the segment of a circle, right? but then is an Anlegebewegung a "positioning movement" and what is its "Regelung"?!? Thanks in advance

It is attaching one technical device or body to another, which is "applying" or "application" (like applying a break pad to the disc). And Bewegung is either "motion" or "movement".

Regelung in this case means "control", as there are three different variations of application movements and it has also something to do with the approach speed. "Control" is in this case most appropriate
