I'm afraid I don't have much context to provide. I may have to ask the client for an explanation. The text deals with a plastics manufacturer who produces custom made parts for various machines, devices, etc. I'm translating the shopping basket page of a web site. My dictionary says Halbzeug means semi-finished product. But what the heck does Halbzeuglänge mean? Customers are being asked to supply the manufacturer with specifications and drawings of the parts they want produced.
