German term or phrase: Bock
I know this is a simple term, but I am having trouble deciding exactly what it is in my context, which is the erection/setup of a traveling carnival ride. It occurs several times in the first section of the document, and I'm not sure if it always refers to the same thing or not.
Here are the excerpts:

I would appreciate any help anybody can give me with this!

((Advice from a Danish wag: "If no thought your mind doeth visit, make your speech not too explicit."))

In view of the remote (?) possibility of an accident resulting from faulty assembly in the context of a potentially inaccurate translation, I would be inclined to select one or more of the general translations of Bock (stand, support, frame, etc.) in combination with a footnote identifying the term as a placeholder for the correct/accurate term in the absence of explanatory context or drawings; and request that such explanatory information be supplied to you to finalize this translation.
