Tech/Engineering
German term or phrase: Spindel / Keil
Wenn notwendig könnte man mittels Spindel oder Keile das Gleis zu den beiden Beton-Außenwänden in die richtige Gleislage korregieren.

The context is the positioning of rail tracks on a road bed against two enclosing walls (Außenwänden). The track has just been buried in concrete and is being adjusted.

Someone with rail track engineering expertise would be able to answer this.

I've got lots of choices for Keile: wedges, quoins, keys, etc.
Spindel: spindle, shaft, beam, mandrel, etc.

Explanation:
You may be lucky enough to get a rail track engineer to anwser, but in the meantime my suggestions:

a) Cornelsen's Tech WB lists 'strut' as one of the possible meansings of 'Spindel'.

If you consider what is being described, it seems fairly clear that the rails have to be forced into the correct positions (as necessary) by using wedges and/or bars (struts) to shift them from their positions as placed. and hold them in positoin until the concrete has set This is common practice in many areas of mechanical fitting and machine fitting.
