Without additional context, I am very reluctant to even venture a guess in these cases. For Zahnradauslegung you might be able to say something along the lines of "gear wheel design or layout" or simply "gear design or layout or dimensioning" (maybe rating)????? Radsatz is wheel set and Welle is usually a shaft, so you can combine the two.
