Einfehlersicherheit der BG ohne Zweitsystem

These are some of the features of a system that measures alcohol content in an offset printing machine.

I'll take care of the BG later on but what is Einfehlersicherheit. Error protection? Zweitsystem - dual system?

single-fault tolerance of the BG without a redundant/secondary system
Explanation:
literally "single fault security".

Depending on your context they might be trying to establish why they do not need a backup system due to their superior built-in safeguards, etc.

one fault safety of the BG without redundancy

Explanation:
or
first fault safety of the BG without redundancy
Einfehlersicherheit = Safety maintained when only one fault occurs at a time. It does not mean that the system is tolerant, as this would mean that it continues to operate even with this fault.
To my knowledge, and in the frame of European safety terminology, it means that it returns to a state that is safe for the operator, usually it simply stops the faulty device and prevents any restart of the hazardous equipment until the fault has disappeared.
On the controry, when an equipment is redundant, it can then be made fault tolerant, ie it continues to operate although a fault is present.

In my previous answer, I forgot to give you a reference, where you can find some confirmation of what I said :

You can also try to access a a German site describing the EN-954 standard which defines precisely this safety term.
