German term or phrase: Rickfondecke, Dispersionsanstrich
same context: construction of walls and ceilings
fl
English translation:dispersion paint or dispersion paint coat or coat of dispersion paint
Explanation:
"latex" is perhaps to restrictive. Most dispersion paints today have no latex in them. "paint job" is possibly a little to casual. "Rick" is a fence or enclosure made from lath, rods, reeds, bamboo or sticks. "Fond" is a background (maybe colour or design), recessed seat, back seat or basis. "Ecke" is of course corner. Now, what in the world is a "Rickfondecke"?

Dispersionsanstrich = latex paint job

Explanation:
Source: Ernst, W. der industriellen Technik.

AltaVista doesn't bring up anything for Rickfondecke (in whole or in part, nor in assuming some slighly different spellings)

Dispersion paint

Explanation:
no idea what Rickfondecke is, but i don't think it has anything to do with a corner, it would rather be a ceiling in the technique or material or style Rickfon - wild guess: Rickfon could be a brand of sound insulation
