fibre-optical cable
Explanation:
This is evidently a computer text, so this can only be an optical cable (usually a fibre-optical cable), which has been abbreviated by the author into "Faser" from "Faseroptik".

"Faser nicht angesteckt" would then be marvelously obtuse or "bad" German and should read as "fibre-optical cable not connected".
