on the job, c'est normalement un stage pratique et off the job ne signifie pas en externe ou a l'exterieur de l'entreprise..je pense que pratique et théorique et une bonne traduction. Merci bcp!

les autres propositions sont bonnes aussi mais je pense qu\'il faut garder la \"symétrie\" de l\'expression \"on the job/off the job\".
Ce serait peut-être un peu bancal d\'avoir par ex \"sur le tas/hors de l\'entreprise\" parceque la première partie est une formule imagée, et la deuxième une formule précise de localisation. De plus \"sur le tas\" peut aussi avoir lieu à l\'extérieur (Il suffit de déplacer le tas en question, éh, éh,éh...)
