Je ne vois pas trop ce que "Scheide" signifie dans ce contexte!

"Das Massiv bildet den mittleren und höchsten Teil des rund 700 km langen Kastilischen Scheidegebirges (Cordillera Central) in der Mitte der Iberischen Halbinsel."
