boisseau du carburateur Explanation: En automobile, la quantité de mélange admise se règle avec un clapet (pièce en forme de pièce de monnaie qui vient obturer l'arrivée d'air du conduit principal (vertical en général) du carburateur par rotation. En moto, on utilise plutôt un système à boisseau (cylindre dont la partie inférieure est taillée en biseau et qui vient obturer le conduit d'admission d'air horizontal). C'est le "Schieber" qui doit son nom au fait qu'il coulisse comme le boiseau d'un vanne... à boisseau ou à tiroir (Kegel- o. Schieberventil).
