Die sogenannten "Körnlipicker" ernähren sich meist aus religiösen Gründen (Buddhismus, Zen, Hare Krishna) praktisch nur von Pflanzen, Kernen und Getreide. Milch und Eier sowie tierische Fette kommen nicht auf den Tisch. Die Ernährung wird auf dieser Stufe schon sehr anspruchsvoll; wenn man sich makrobiotisch ernähren will, sollte man bei jemandem in die "Lehre" gehen.
