axe oscillant , axe de pivotement Explanation: Your guesses are very probably right. In a pump there is often an excentric rotation axis, if it is the case, the translation "axe oscillant" is correct. Axe de nutation is something else : it discribes the type of oscillation that a top undergoes when you make it spin. It sounds inadequate for a pump. Pivotement and rotation are synonym. We prefer "pivotement" for discribing a rotation that is less than one turn. So if you know that this Schwenkbolzen rotates less than one turn you can translate by "axe de pivotement" just as you suggested. Otherwise translate it by "axe de rotation".
